Stay Healthy Tips

1. Wash your hands. Use warm water and soap, for at least 30 seconds, sing "Happy Birthday" twice.

2. Eat healthy- fruits and vegetables. Add Vitamins to your diet (vitamin D... scroll down to read more)

3. Drink plenty of water.

4. Avoid contact with sick people.

5. Do not cough or sneeze on anyone. Do not let anyone cough or sneeze on you. Use a tissue or your sleeve, not your hands.


*If you get sick*
  • Stay home. Don't spread your germs around.
  • Eat well. Chicken noodle soup, water, hot tea, cranberry juice.
  • Rest. Get as much sleep as you can.
  • Stretch. Move your muscles a little bit, so you don't get over stiff.
  • Humidifier. Use a cool mist humidifier in your home.

Seasonal Flu Shot*
Research before you get it. Doctors are highly recommending it this year, but ultimately you make the decision.

Who needs it the most:
  • Ages 6 months- 18 years old
  • Adults over 50
  • Pregnant women
  • People with high risk factors (diabetes, etc)
