Top 5 Facial Moisturizers

Aloe Vera alone or mixed with some filtered water is all you need if you have sensitive oily skin. You can add some essential oils like clover, tea tree or lavender to provide additional antibacterial properties only if you have no known sensitivities to these ingredients.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 is another option for skin face moisturizers that gives this great dewy finish without feeling oily or sticky.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is fragrance free and suitable for people with sensitive skin and even patients affected with certain skin conditions like rosacea. Cetaphil moisturizer helps reduce redness and hydrate very dry skin especially if you have eczema issues.

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is especially good for people with very dry and sensitive skin. Additionally, it contains ceramides that are great components for the best moisturizer for aging skin that is also very prone to irritations.

Homemade
Warm 1 table spoon of cocoa butter with double the amount of almond oil, add some Aloe Vera and stir. You can use it on your face, neck and chest for supple and well moisturized skin.

Be sure to apply with clean hands. And use an SPF when outdoors to protect from skin damage.

How to heal a Sunburn

Sunburns can be painful and ugly. The bright red color is not the worst of it, it is the peeling that comes when it is healing. The pain turns to itch, and you swear you'll never go to the beach again (until next time).

Even though you should absolutely wear a sunblock (with an SPF of 15 or more), burns can still occur. You can find relief from sunburns by using ice packs, keeping your skin moisturized, and using creams with aloe vera. It is also important to drink plenty of fluids, because sunburn can cause dehydration.

Products to try:

Natural High - Organic Aloe Vera Gel 32 oz

After Sun Body & Face Maintenance Moisturizer 8oz

GNC Aloe Vera Skin Gel 2 oz(s)

It is best to use products with at least 98% aloe. The best way to get pure aloe is from the plant itself.

Vitamin C and E are both good for the skin, and can help the skin heal from a sun burn. Consume produce, such as broccoli, carrots, melons, peppers, and tomatoes for Vitamin C. Try avocados, almonds, and sunflower seeds for Vitamin E.

Remember to use sunblock, an umbrella, and wear a hat! Protect your skin, you want to keep it looking young and healthy as long as possible.
